Day 2 – Eating to Capacity

Weight:  194.5

Eating to Capacity...this seems too good to be true!  Sort of like hearing "you aren't going to lose any more weight, are you?"  That's only happened once in my life!

And I'm wondering if I will regret these two days of unrestricted eating...you know the saying "if it's too good to be true, it probably is"...but, what the heck, it's "doctor's orders"!

I usually don't eat all of the stuff that I've read and have been told I need to eat during these 2 upcoming days:  cheeseburgers, fries, shakes, pizza, and donuts, to name a few!  I am already planning to meet my husband for a cheeseburger, fries, and milkshake at the local drive in that is being remodeled.  I've always been curious about the place, but, like I said...I don't eat that stuff!

Meal update:  It was fabulous!  I had a *gulp* DOUBLE cheeseburger, a large cup of tater tots (that should be worth some fat gorging credits), and a homemade, real ice cream blackberry milkshake...with whipped cream!  NUMMM!

Snack update:  I stopped at Fred Meyer to get some donuts.  As I was opening the box in the car, I'm realizing I'm still full from lunch and not really looking forward to the donuts.  It was at that point that I realized they were not the "full fat" normal donuts, they were some sort of "good fat" donuts...who in the heck wants "healthy donuts" anyway??

Dinner update:  My friend Lola came over for dinner and we had a Papa Murphy's Family sized Chicago stuffed pizza....my favorite!  I ate two pieces and a small salad.

Day 1

Weight:  194.5
I am supposed to eat normally today, so that is really easy.  We make pretty healthy eating selections already, so this day is a non-event for me.

Pre-Diet Clinic Visit

Weight:  195.5

I had my pre-diet visit today with the RN.  We decided to use the topical cream, rather than go with the injections.  I hate needles and do not relish the idea of sticking myself; it’s bad enough when I poke myself with a sewing pin!

The topical cream is delivered like bio-identical hormones.  I know people who use those, so am encouraged that it is an effective delivery system.  I can also report back to the clinic if I think it is not working and change my approach, so I am relieved that I am not locked into an ineffective approach.  The cost of the cream, however, would probably not be reimbursed, so I’d have to figure a way to deal with that.

I am really looking forward to the fat-loading (gorging) two days ahead!
