First Week Summary

I have felt hungry all week!  Not only do I have hypoglycemia, so I’m very sensitive to eating on a regular basis, I also am very psychologically stressed when I’m hungry, so I have been on edge all week about this.  I am going to call the doctor’s office and see if I am doing something wrong, as they told me I would not be hungry.  They are closed on Fridays, so I have to wait until Monday.

That being said, I have thrown away 5 pounds.  I expected the progress to be more dramatic, but I’ll take it.  And, I can do anything for a short amount of time, so I will just tough out being hungry for a little while.  I just have to figure out how to spread out my food so I don’t feel so frantic and inhale my food when I finally do get it.

Day 5

Weight:  195

I feel pretty good this morning, not so hungry as yesterday.

Day 4

Weight:  197

I'm not liking seeing my weight go up, but at least I was prepared for it.  I am a big believer in breakfast, and I'm not liking how it appears I will have to go without breakfast.

I'm definitely hungry this morning, a bit light headed, and I definitely want more food.  I'm definitely hungry before eating, but I feel much better afterwards.

At 11:25, after eating lunch my stomach feels full, but I have a slight headache and took a naproxin.

Day 3 – Eating to Capacity

Weight:  197

I don’t even want to eat today!  I'm so full from yesterday that breakfast sounds entirely unappetizing.  I'm also feeling rather bloated.  So, I waited until 9am or so, then we had:

Breakfast:  Ham, 2 egg omelet with cheese, onions, peppers and mushrooms, sour cream, salsa; donuts; coffee with my non-sugar hazelnut creamer

Lunch:  One piece of leftover Papa Murphy's Chicago style stuffed pizza, salad with homemade olive oil and vinegar dressing.

Dinner: One piece of leftover Papa Murphy's Chicago style stuffed pizza, salad with homemade olive oil and vinegar dressing.
